We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Criminal Solicitor to join our legal team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and advocacy skills and a thorough understanding of legal principles.

As a Solicitor, you will represent clients in various legal matters, providing expert advice and ensuring their rights are protected. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

You must be police station accredited and be able to work within our structure which includes providing a 24 hour service and therefore out of hours work is essential. You must also have a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various matters regarding criminal law.

• Represent clients in court proceedings and at the Police Station.

• Draft and review legal documents.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

• Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate.

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A commitment to professional development and staying abreast of changes in the law.
